Our rugs are made from PET which is made from thousands of plastic bottles that are washed, crushed, heated and then extruded into threads. These threads are hand knotted by artisan weavers into rugs that will last for generations.
Due to the impermeability quality of PET, spills do not infiltrate the fibres making the rug easy to clean. If a stain has been left for an extended period and resists lifting with warm water, it can be treated with a diluted bleach.
PET rugs are luxurious whilst being strong to handle the wear and tear of everyday life and living.
